Whatsapp has launched some new features providing you more control during group calls. Using these features, you can now avoid disturbance in case any individual forgets to mute himself.
Most important among these features is, you can now mute any individual who has forgotten to mute mic. Or maybe in case, if you’re not interested in listening to the opinions of specific individuals. It enables you to listen to only intended people avoiding any noise from other participants.
This feature is already available in other video conferencing apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, enabling hosts to mute a specific person or all participants. But even in these conferencing apps, this control isn’t provided to an individual making it a more important feature.
Additionally, you can not only mute an individual but also send a message to a specific participant during a group call. It enables you to make a conversation with intended individual while ensuring privacy. Along with these group call features, Whatsapp has also launched certain other new features to keep your data secure over the internet.

you can also select a specific audience from your contact list who can see your Profile Photo, About, and Last Seen status.
